Meet The Team

Hannah Heaton and Melinda Bagaga first met each other in 2017 at a local MOPS group.  Through a series of playdates and conversations, owning a doula partnership went from a dream to a reality. In May 2018, they took the plunge together and created Flat River Doulas. Between sharing clients, car rides, call schedules, and administrative work, they were growing a successful, sustainable Doula Partnership. Over the years they both added babies to their families, supported each other through maternity leave AND continued learning and growing in education and training in their own specialized focus. Hannah put more effort into Postpartum and Lactation support while Melinda shifted her focus toward Midwifery. In 2024, Hannah became sole owner so Melinda can completely focus on giving quality Midwifery care for families in our community!
