Postpartum Support Group
A safe, supportive space to heal, connect, and navigate life after birth together.
Hi there!
I’m Maria Jimenez, a graduate social work student at Western Michigan University, where I focus on perinatal mental health. My passion for this work comes from my own experience with a perinatal mood and anxiety disorder, which showed me just how isolating this journey can feel, and how important support really is.

I want you to know: you’re not alone, and it truly does get better. I care deeply about supporting both moms and dads as they navigate this season of life.

I live in Belding with my husband, our three children, and our three cats. When I’m not studying or working, I love watching The Great British Baking Show and diving into all things related to perinatal care.

After graduating this May, I plan to continue working with new parents and offering support through our postpartum support group. This group is a welcoming space for moms in their first year after giving birth to connect, share, and feel supported.
We’d love to have you join us!
