A two-hour visit from our Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS) right after baby arrives (offered to families with newborns - 4 weeks postpartum). You most likely don’t have any problems that prompted this visit but you want to make sure you get the best start.
During this session, you can expect our CBS to:

Ensure proper latch

Try different positions to find what is most comfortable and natural for you and your baby

Establish a successful on-demand feeding schedule

Manage any engorgement
-
Care plan listing the details from our visit

Answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding your unique breastfeeding relationship with your baby.
Your initial visit includes but is not limited to:

Parent and infant intake and history
-
Milk transfer assessment (pre and post feed weights)

Support and guidance to address breastfeeding and lactation related problems

Customized care plan to help you meet your goals, including any referrals
Keep in mind that this will likely take 1.5 - 2 hours. Expect a follow-up phone call within 48 hours to check in.
Phone Consultations | $30/30min ($10 each additional 15min)
This service is perfect for moms who are traveling, have questions about stool color or consistency, have a well-established nursing relationship but are experiencing sudden changes in feeding patterns or milk supply, and those returning to work or school. Additional time is available as needed and is charged in 15-minute increments.
